∆. Definiton of Collocation
A collocations is a familiar grouping of word, expecially word that habitually appear together and there by conveymeaning association.

∆. Collocation range
refers to the set of items that typically company a word. The size of a collocational range is partially determine of a word's level of specifically and number of meaning.

∆. Predictability of collocations
Every lexeme has collocation, but some are much more presictable than other. Bland collocates strongly with hair, flock with sheep, neigh with horse.

∆. Strong collocations
Refer to words that almost always go together. It's possible that people might understand if you dont use a strong collocation. However, if  you do not use a strong collocation it will sound funny to native speaker.
